In the past few years, through frequent stops, I have come to know everyone associated with Scallywags. Because of this I have added Scallywags to my list of stops every time I'm in the area. It also helps that the variety of merchandise, reasonable pricing and product displays make it a great place to shop. I have purchased many things and have also taken a few pieces into sell. Every experience has been great. The one thing you need to know about Scallywags is: If you see it and like it, BUY IT! It probably won't be there tomorrow.
All in all: Great experience and brought to you by a great staff.

I always visit Scallywags when visiting North Carolina( about 6 times a year). There is always a nice snack at the door of cookies and something to drink and the friendly service is a good representation of "Southern Hospitality". It is very enjoyable to browse the store which carriers a wide variety of merchandise with very reasonable prices. They carry many smaller decorative items, not only furniture and I very seldom leave empty handed. For sure worth the time and energy it takes to stop and see for yourself!

I love shopping at Scallywag's! I have found so many items that are truly unique here. The staff are always courteous and I even take doggie treats to Jake the greeter when I visit. I usually can't wait for my husband to go back and check out what I have found because I should have bought it when I saw it! I am always afraid that something I see won't be there long enough to wait.

Unlike the definition of it's humorous name, Scallywag's is neither, scampish nor a rascal when it comes to dealing with perspective sellers and anxious buyers.! My first impressions when I visited the store over a year ago were "and all this under one roof? From then on, it has only become bigger and better! I always find treasures and more at this store.
The home-furnishings, gifts accessories and whatnots, change literally by the hour. I've never been shopping there without hearing astonished customers reeling about the great prices and grabbing things up before some other rascal could get his hands on them.
As a seller and a buyer, nothing could be more fun and meet every great expectation. The Waynesville area is filled with folks coming and going; looking to fill a home and looking to downsize. There is no better place to start than Scallywag's. Hit the BIG stores last, as you will have saved enough cash to buy the fill-in's at retail after gathering all the unique finds here!

This store is the BEST!! Top quality merchandise offered in a honest and straight forward manner.
Items for sale are displayed in creative and pleasing vignettes. The atmosphere of the store is friendly and casual. Prices are fair.
The saying," I should have bought it when I saw it" certainly applies to this store because furniture does not stay long here.
I am fortunate that Scallyways is in my area!

I just discovered the consignor log-in feature (of your web site) - what a great idea! Although there are numerous consignment venues here in Wilmington, many of which we have tried, there are none as efficient and effective (or beautifully displayed!) as Scallywags. We will try to get buy during the days after Christmas.
