Located: just west of Waynesville conveniently on Hwy. 74 heading toward Sylva (US 19/23 bypass) between mile marker 96 & 95 and across from "Barber Orchard". We offer high quality used furniture at prices well below new cost.

We accept: gently used furniture pieces and accessories of all styles and types. We will offer your fine and heirloom furniture to the public and make you money in the process. Please see our "Consignment" page for more details on how this works and to view a copy of our contract.

Scallywag’s Consignment Furniture: will help you price your items at fair market value. We both stand to gain by selling your quality interior furnishings and accessories at the highest price the market will bear. The established price will be reduced 10% every 30 days as the consignment period matures. Any information you have concerning the original price of your furnishings will be considered in determining the current fair market value. Age and use will also be considered and, in general, you can expect from ½ to ¼ of your item's original value. That said, there are always exceptions.

Consignments should be in good condition and clean. Wood furniture should not require refinishing; upholstered furniture should not be worn or dirty. All parts should be present, i.e. lamps with shades, and items should not need repairs. Typically, we are looking for gently used quality furniture and accessories. We do not accept appliances or just plain beat up furniture.

Our consignment contract: Our consignment period may be either 90 or 120 days and is determined at the time of consignment. Our intention is to help you sell your furniture and put money in your pocket, not to store your items indefinitely. Following the end of your consignment period, if your items have not already been sold, you have several options. You can a) reclaim your items, b) have us donate them for you, or c) discuss with us an additional consignment period. Any items that are not claimed by the pick-up date will become the property of Scallywag’s Consignment Furniture and will be disposed of or donated at our discretion.
